Once upon a Quarantine, Naevia and I were sitting in the living room.  She was drawing in her journal and I was reading a book.  She looked up at me with bright eyes and said, “Mommy - what if I had magic glasses?”  Naevia and I talked about all the places that she wanted her Magic Glasses to take her and all of the people that she would meet on her adventures.  This is where the story was born.

 

Naevia, as the main character, is a fun, science-loving, 8 year old girl with a condition called Retina of Prematurity.  She has been wearing glasses since she was a baby.  In this story, readers will follow Naevia as her Magic Glasses take her through history to meet different women to help her solve her problems.
